There's always something to see...!
The Romans had a large influence on the Isle of Wight (did you know they called the Island 'Vectis'?). You can view all this and more at one of the finest Roman archaeological sites in Britain.
It's a historic Roman ruin in a modern, well equipped and brightly lit visitor centre. It is also one of the best examples of a Roman site in the UK and well worth a visit.
It's just outside Brading. Towards the east of the Island on the main road between Ryde and Sandown.
